Doom of Ghouls

Not sure where this came from.

A comment on internet trolls & the hateful. Those who offer nothing, yet demand everything. Often demented cowards, who while hiding behind anonymous accounts, have caused outrageous harm. Malign actors, amplifying fear, division & hatred.

So maybe this is a modern-day curse on a modern-day curse.

Doom of Ghouls.
Dine on misery,
Until the teeth fall rotten from your head,
Siphon the goodness,
Until the gouted flesh splits from off your toes,
Drink the tears,
Until drunken vomit from the endless offerings,
Steal the happiness,
Until the slim pockets chafe the skin from your wrists,
Wallow in the pandemic,
Until the satellite cable binds your scabbed lips,
Oh how little differ fools,
With nary a gap ‘tween misshapen thumb and twisted mouth.
