Delighted to have co-authored an article in this months An Cosantóir on the new Naval Service variant DPM. Having worked on this project for a number of years while serving with FORST, it is great to see it come into service.

FORST stands for Fleet Operational Readiness, Standards and Training (FORST) section. FORST works within Naval Operations Command (NOC) with the aim of FORST been to facilitate organisational learning and continuous improvement by highlighting best practice and the fleet standardised processes required for the generation, maintenance and evaluation of our operational capability (GMEOC).
