Be More with the Navy

Really pleased to have an article “#BeMore with the Naval Service” in this months An Cosantóir. You can read the entire magazine via the link at the bottom of this post.

It’s great to have the opportunity to explore the Navy Technical Recruitment, Retention, and Regeneration Cell (TRRRC) where I work.

The Defence Forces are at the beginning of transformative changes, and the Navy of the next decade will be very different than the one I joined 25 years ago.

I am delighted that the TRRRC shall be part of introducing the next generation of sailors to the opportunities and experiences of a career at sea.

Also delighted to highlight the upcoming Spike Island, Cork harbour  Literary Festival, and to review some fantastic new books by Michelle Dunne, Amy Cronin, and Tadhg Coakley.
