Today’s sentence:
“When the night has settled in, it’s hard to turn the face unto the page and seek within the empty spaces the fullness of life.”
Inspiration and Observation:
It’s late, and I am tired. I think back to Hemmingway’s quote at the start of this daily writing exercise. “Do not worry. You have always written before and you will write now. All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence you know.” For tonight, that is the best I’m going to do.
The sentence lodged for later use as:
“When the night has settled in, it’s hard to turn the face unto the page and seek within the empty spaces the fullness of life.“
It evolved as:
- Not tonight, it is the first and final draft.

Subscribed because I really love the format of your blog, I think it’s so beautiful! It’s so true how sentences have inspirations and evolve over time.
