Today’s sentence:
“Writing in the same room as a modern refrigerator is like sitting in the cinema next to a perpetual grazer; hum, fizz, plop, fart.”
Inspiration and Observation:
I write at the kitchen table, downstairs. Normally it’s just the dog for company, however once it gets quiet, you really start to notice that god-dang fridge. Although, its annoying tonight, as are the unexpected fireworks from our neighbours beyond the wall, on the private road, however I also find it comforting. While at sea I wrote at my desk in my cabin. And the ship was never silent, there was always a background mechanical theme song when things got quiet, and the hours stretched out along the red lit alleyway.
The sentence lodged for later use as:
“Writing in the same room as a modern refrigerator, is like sitting in the cinema next to a perpetual grazer; hum, fizz, plop, fart.”
It evolved as:
- No. Happy with this.
